It is always cool to see what designers do for fun, not necessarily for $. It’s even cooler to see when their love, persistence, and belief is recognized. It inspires us all.

Matt Pfahlert, a local fellow designer and owner of Get a Clue Design, is a perfect example. When not busy serving his corporate clients he designs and screen prints bad arse posters for bands like Wilco, The Black Keys and Galactic. Matt’s 35+ gigposters and several art prints are on display through March at Studio 258 Gallery in Hickory, NC. I got to see them all last week, and I am jealous and inspired. Can’t make it in person? Buy one online, they are suprisingly affordable.
